Was completely feeling lethargic (probably from my flu meds and antibiotics ;_; ) and wasn't in the mood to do any boring work so did this fan art of some obscure cartoon show that nobody watches as part of an experiment instead. Not trying to copy anything accurately. Just trying to have some fun with my favorite character Toph.
This pic almost didn't get finish either because I incredibly hated my inks and I was getting bored and kept getting distracted by shiny things and strange people who kept poking me on AIM. But I'd spent some time on it already and it would be a shame not to finish it. So here it is, albeit incredibly rushed because I hated the inks. Done done done. X_X Another one of those pics that I incredibly hated while working on but I eventually ended up liking because I love bright happy colors. That's some very creative use of earthbending, as I told you before, but it's what makes this illustration so interesting. It strangely fits their personalities, too -- Aang being modest and practical, riding his glider, while Toph just had to go overboard and impress the audience.
Very dynamic!
