A 2-page spread from my webcomic By Moon Alone. [link]
This page was one of the easiest pages I've done as I know exactly what I want to do with this from the very beginning. This is also a brief revisit of a page from the earlier part of the story.
I had a bit of technical problems with the gradients as I was working on this. Apparently the purplish hue I'm using is one of the many colors that create banding when using gradients. So if you pay attention, you can actually see lines where colors are separating in the sky background. I've made a bit of tweaking to minimize that but some of it are still visible. I just hope they don't translate too bad when I do a print test eventually.
It's the same for me, I can't tell at all on my monitor.
But I must say, this last panel left me hanging! I went "NOOOOO!" When I saw it.
I suppose it is what you must do, but man, I can't wait for the next page!
By the way, in general, the story is wonderful. I love all the time and effort you put into your pages because each one is like a work of art. I'm loving it.
And congrats on one year!

Nice one, very dramatic scene, I love the misty effects on it. I saw the Blade for Barter pages of vol.2 in the unfinished projects article at [link], it was looking very nice man, if it could have been finished it was a sure buy from me...^___^ Cheers!!

The worst thing ever is the one you think and don't do. Go for it!! ^_^
Tghe only lines I can so are curved lines in the "star" sections of the sky that look like they curve around a point somewhere to the lower right of the image.
I agree, I think they look like fading tracers of falling starts.
As far as straight horizontal banding lines, I can't see any in full view, so I think it looks fine.
Gorgeous as usual.
