10K Kiriban for :iconkoalaexe:

This is probably one of the more time-consuming color experiments I've done but also one of those rare pictures that I have enjoyed making from start to finish. My aim has always been to try capturing that slice of life moment and I think this one came out accomplishing that goal quite well. Not perfectly, mind you. But quite well enough to satisfy my limited expectations. This piece still has a lot of rough spots that I'm not too happy with but I blame that mostly to my inability to figure out how to get from point A to point B.

I guess that's the real problem when you're just a self-taught "artist". Figuring out how things are supposed to be done is a really big challenge. But exciting nonetheless. Definitely fun times.

This is a nice picture! The detail on the rocks and the water splashing against the rocks is fantastic! The vibrant colors add a calming contrast to the picture and you did very well on capturing the "slice of life" you were going for. :D

Aww, that's so cute! I just love this innocent little moment. The little boy I'm suprised, looks more upset than embarrased. That kind of gives me the impression that the girl (name? girl?) is a very good friend. Haha, she seems like she may always be playing little tricks on him. I have to say I really love your BG on this one. It's just so open and airy. The ocean was such a good setting because you know these two are going to have a blast. Plus it seems like it may be their personal little spot. Also, it's just downright pretty with that old wooden pier and such clear blue water. It's such a natural and happy moment all around! :clap:

Welcome! Haha, and I thought maybe. I thought it was a girl because of the hair, but once I looked at the clothing I thought maybe it's a boy? Guess I should always go with intuition next time!
